Company Leaders at AgriFuels in Glastonbury, CT

Paul Hoar

As President of AgriFuels LLC, Mr. Hoar provides executive management for this Quality Management consulting firm. He was Principal Investigator for the National Biodiesel Board on implementing fuel quality enforcement for the 50 states of the National Conference on Weights and Measures from 2006 to 2010. He was employed in the aerospace industry with Smiths Aerospace LLC as a Business Director until his retirement in 2005. Previously he was employed by the Hamilton Sundstrand Division of United Technologies Corporation for 23 years in Program and Quality Management, and Business Development positions until his retirement in 1999. Concurrently, LT COL Hoar served 33 years of active and reserve duty in the Connecticut Air National Guard serving as aircraft mechanic, Squadron Commander and Command Pilot obtaining 3000 hours flying time in fighter aircraft. He retired from the Air Force in 1994.

Mr. Hoar earned B. S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Hartford and Rensselaer at Hartford, respectively. He is a life member of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni and National Guard Associations, and is a board member of the Army Aviation Association of America and the House of Heroes of CT.

Gary DeLong

Gary DeLong is Vice President of Degart Global and is active in writing, implementation and auditing of Quality Management Standards for International and Domestic requirements. He holds certifications in several standards including ISO 9001, BQ-9000 FSSC 2200, HACCP, ISCC.

Gary is a Lead Trainer for PCQI and FSVP for the FDA. He has served in various positions including sales management, operations and general management. In these positions, he obtained extensive experience in business and operations management in execution of standards. Gary currently Co-Chairs the North American Technical Committee for Sustainably through ISCC.

Gary has participated in the early development and guidance of the USDA PVP for grain operations and was instrumental in the implementation of the USDA APHIS BRS BQMS (Biotechnology Quality Management System).

Rich Sulinski

Rich provides the technology, processes and solutions for biodiesel national supply chain quality. His ability to see integrated international measures, regulatory controls, and supply chain operational details are critical to meaningful quality solutions and compliance programs for customers across the supply chain. He is chief architect for the Quality Control Solutions software and field solutions for AgriFuels’ clients.

He was employed in the aerospace industry for 28 years with Sikorsky Aircraft Division of United Technologies as a Senior IT Analyst. His responsibilities included the integration of division-wide applications and process improvements for engineering, manufacturing, inventory control, compliance programs, international contracts, sales and strategic planning. This responsibility included IT solutions to manage international co-design and co-manufacturing of helicopters, and the configuration control of shared and propriety technical documents.

Rich has a B.A. from Eastern Connecticut State University, 1974 where he majored in Mathematics. His professional training includes MRP Material Requirements Planning (MRP); Computer Aided Design 2d CADM, 3-D CATIA; Product Development Management (PDM); Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE); and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (Salesforce certified).
